Kai Havertz will play for Bayer Leverkusen in the Europa League

Bayer Leverkusen Managing Director of Sport Rudi Völler has confirmed that Kai Havertz will remain at the Bundesliga club for their Europa League fixtures.

“That is set in stone,” said Völler. Havertz will play in the Europa League second-leg vs Rangers on August 6.

The 60-year-old also confirmed that nothing has changed and that Bayer haven’t received any concrete offers for Havertz. Any potential suitor will have to pay the asking price with Völler also confirming that they won’t be giving any club a discount following the Covid-19 pandemic.
