Kai Havertz: “I always want to play in the Champions League.”

Bayer Leverkusen attacker Kai Havertz doesn’t want to comment on his future following speculation of a big money transfer at the end of the season with finishing well in the Bundesliga his priority.

“Of course, there’s a lot of speculation at the moment. That’s normal. Right now, Leverkusen are my main focus and I’m concentrating on them. At the end of the season, we’ll find a solution,” Havertz told Sky Germany.

“Personally, I always want to play in the Champions League. That’s been my goal since my first year here and in general that’s a goal for every Bundesliga player. Regardless, I’m grateful to Leverkusen so I don’t want to mess anything up.”

The 20-year-old has nine goals and five assists in his last 10 games in all competitions.
