Italian champions Juventus have entered negotiations with Schalke to discuss the potential transfer of 21-year-old midfielder Weston McKennie, according to Sport1.
Juventus sporting director Fabio Paratici has spoken to S04’s Michael Reschke via phone with the Serie A side willing to pay the required €25 million asking price that Schalke have placed on McKennie.
According to Kicker, the deal is moving forward extremely quick. Schalke will receive an initial €6m from Juventus to take McKennie on loan with Juventus having an option to purchase for €18m.
