Although not ruling out a move completely, RB Leipzig head coach Julian Nagelsmann has casted doubt on the Bundesliga club signing Atlético Madrid attacker Thomas Lemar.
“Thomas Lemar is a very good player with a lot of potential who has played very little recently. But we as a club cannot financially support everything that might be good for us,” said Nagelsmann.
According to Bild, the Spanish side want a €10 million loan fee whilst RB Leipzig would have to pay the Frenchman’s salary, reported to be €7m per season.
Per the report, Lemar would have to significantly lower his salary demands if he is to join RB Leipzig.
