All eyes at the weekend descended on the Bundesliga, the first game to return following the suspension of football amid the Coronavirus pandemic.
“Everyone wants to know how the Bundesliga managed to restart, what regulations were necessary,” Schalke defender Jonjoe Kenny told Kicker.
The 23-year-old has missed just two Bundesliga games this season and featured in Schalke’s Revierderby defeat to rivals Borussia Dortmund.
“This was not the game we would have liked to play,” added Kenny. “The best thing we can do now is leave that game behind. We still have some tough matches ahead of us.”
On loan from Everton, Kenny doesn’t know where his future will be.
“My focus is on the games here at Schalke. After this season? Whatever happens, happens,” said the right-back.
