Borussia Dortmund duo Jadon Sancho and Manuel Akanji will receive a €10,000 fine by the DFL for breaching hygiene rules after allowing a hairdresser to cut their hair inside their homes.
Per Chris Williams, this breaches the “general hygiene and infection protection standards as well as the medical-organizational concept of the DFL task force ‘Sports Medicine / Special Game Operation’ for having a home haircut.”
Sancho and Akanji will have five days to lodge an appeal. Raphael Guerreiro, Thorgan Hazard, Axel Witsel and Dan-Axel Zagadou also had their hair cut by a celebrity hairdresser.
