Hertha Berlin sporting director Michael Preetz that Lyon midfielder Lucas Tousart will join the Bundesliga club on July 1st but reiterates that UEFA still have to set out guidelines regarding the transfer market.
“We hope that we can welcome Lucas to us on July 1st according to the loan agreement,” Preetz told Kicker.
“There are a few unanswered questions that UEFA has to answer.”
Hertha BSC purchased Tousart in the winter window for €24 million but loaned him back to Lyon for the remainder of the season.
French football has been cancelled with PSG being crowned champions but Lyon could yet play in the Champions League, where they play Juventus.
