Hansi Flick on today’s events at Hoffenheim: “We have to stand up more against such idiots.”

Speaking after Bayern Munich’s 6-0 win at Hoffenheim, head coach Hansi Flick was furious with the travelling away support after they unveiled an insulting banner aimed at Hoffenheim’s Billionaire owner Dietmar Hopp.

“I’m sorry for what happened today. We have to stand together, both clubs, as we did. It was a big sign. Things can’t go on like this. It’s time to fight back. We have to stand up more against such idiots,” said Flick.

“This has nothing to do with football. These people do not belong here and should stay at home. When I watch a football game like this, I have to be unhappy. That was pure idiocy.”
