FC Köln will open negotiations with 19-year-old defender Noah Katterbach over a contract extension, according to Express.
“There is no reason for me to leave Köln. FC Köln is in my heart and I would be happy about an extension,” Katterbach told Kölner Stadtanzeiger.
Katterbach’s current deal expires in 2021 and his performances this season have been integral to FC Köln being in tenth.
“We want to extend Noah’s contract and have a clear mutual commitment,” sporting director Horst Heldt told Express.
