David Alaba could leave Bayern Munich this summer if no agreement over a new contract is reached

As reported by Christian Falk, Bayern Munich and David Alaba are yet to reach an agreement regarding a contract extension at the Bundesliga champions.

Both parties are still far apart in their discussions, Bayern offering a basic salary of €11 million plus a further €6m in bonuses whilst Alaba and his agents are demanding over €20m per year.

With one-year remaining on his current contract, talks having been ongoing with their last negotiations taking place in Lisbon on August 14. If no agreement is reached, Bayern may sell the Austria international this summer with neither party wanting the option of a free transfer next summer.
