Borussia Dortmund sporting director Michael Zorc has confirmed that they would like to sign Dan-Axel Zagadou to a long-term contract.
“We can well imagine that,” Zorc told Kicker. “But we haven’t really had any conversations with him about it.
“He has huge potential. He can still develop. He needs to work on his mobility as well as his robustness What’s important for him is that he stays healthy.”
The 21-year-old has a contract with the Bundesliga club until 2022 and has matured immensely this season under Lucien Favre following his move from Paris Saint-Germain in 2017.
