Borussia Dortmund CEO Hans-Joachim Watzke confirms the Bundesliga club will restart contract talks with 27-year-old attacker Mario Götze.
“Everything is on ice at the moment. But it is clear that the conversation with Mario will be resumed at some point,” Watzke told Sky Germany.
Götze’s contract expires at the end of the season with Italian clubs AC Milan and AS Roma both showing an interest in the German.
Hertha BSC had also made their interest known in Götze during the winter window.
