Borussia Dortmund announce that they expect to make a losses of €45 million for the 2019/20 financial year owing to the coronavirus health crisis.
In an ad hoc announcement, BVB said: “The expected aforesaid key figures have to be understood as a direct impact of the Covid-19 pandemic, which has affected all Borussia Dortmund income and revenue sources.”
Playing football behind closed doors would have “significant effects” on football clubs with coronavirus also affecting the transfer market, which “came to a complete standstill in the fourth quarter.”
