Contract talks between Bayern Munich and David Alaba will resume this month with club bosses hoping for a swift conclusion, according to Sport Bild.
The 27-year-old defender can imagine staying with the Bundesliga champions but wants to keep his place in central defence or make a switch to midfield rather than being put back to his natural position at left-back.
Just this week, Paris Saint-Germain made their interest in Alaba known to his representatives whilst Chelsea have also shown an interest in the Austria international.
Alaba has a contract with Bayern Munich until 2021 and has being a key player for Hansi Flick in their eighth consecutive Bundesliga title.
