Despite reports last week suggesting that Bayern Munich and Manchester City are just €10 million apart in their valuation for Leroy Sané, Sport Bild suggest that the two clubs have yet to negotiate directly.
The Germany international has signalled that he wants to join the Bundesliga club, who are ready to offer Sané the No. 10 shirt whilst he’s ready to forego 30 percent of his salary that he asked for before the Covid-19 pandemic.
Sané has a contract with Manchester City until 2021 and with just one-year remaining on his current deal, spending the season out injured and the financial impact of the coronavirus, Bayern are hoping to sign Sané for a cut-price fee.
