Bayern Munich have initiated contact with Premier League side Brighton and Hove Albion for the transfer of 19-year-old right-back Tariq Lamptey, according to Sport1.
The Bundesliga club have enquired about the availability of the England youth international as they search for alternatives after missing out on Ajax defender Sergiño Dest.
According to Sky Germany, Bayern Munich would have to pay around €30 million for Lamptey but are keeping their options open with interest remaining in Norwich City defender Max Aarons.
Bayern head coach Hansi Flick absolutely wants to sign a right-back this summer to provide competition for Benjamin Pavard, which would allow Joshua Kimmich to remain in midfield.
