Augsburg are in advanced negotiations to sign Borussia Mönchengladbach midfielder Tobias Strobl on a free contract, according to Kicker.
The 30-year-old will join Augsburg when his contract expires at the end of the season. Strobl will sign a three-year contract with Heiko Herrlich’s side.
Strobl joined Borussia Mönchengladbach from Hoffenheim in 2016, going on to play 83 games in all competitions. The defensive-midfielder will go on to add much needed stability in Augsburg’s midfield.
