Arsenal’s interest in Bayern Munich defender Jerome Boateng is concrete whilst the Premier League club have enquired about a probably transfer fee, according to Sky Germany.
Bosses are also in talks regarding loan possibilities as well as Boateng’s salary. Bayern Munich would allow Boateng to leave the Allianz Arena in January if they receive a fee close to €15 million.
Arsenal are unlikely to make any significant investment this window but with the recent long-term injury to Calum Chambers and summer signing William Saliba on loan at St. Etienne, the club are looking for a defensive player.
Bayern Munich head coach Hansi Flick hasn’t ruled out a departure for Boateng.
