Stuttgarter Nachrichten report that Italian outfit AC Milan are interested in signing 22-year-old VfB Stuttgart attacker Nicolás González.
Scouts of the Serie A club have watched the Argentina international on several occasions this season but with promotion to the Bundesliga, Stuttgart intend on keeping their best players.
“It’s not our plan at all to hand over these players and in the end only we decide. If you aim for sensible career planning, then at least the next year all three [González, Orel Mangala & Silas Wamangituka] will be with Stuttgart,” said sporting director Sven Mislintat.
González was instrumental in helping Stuttgart back to the Bundesliga, scoring 14 and creating three in 27 second division games.
