Speaking to La Gazzetta dello Sport, Eintracht Frankfurt board member Wolfgang Steubing reveals that Ante Rebić wanted to leave the Bundesliga club for AC Milan, where he’s struggled since.
“If I have to be honest, I have no words. He absolutely wanted to leave, because he didn’t want to pass as the only one of the three attackers tied to us. Now he’s on the bench, he’s gambling but he’s losing and it won’t be easy for him,” said Steubing.
