Philippe Coutinho will join Bayern Munich one an initial one-year loan deal for €8.5m and not the previously reported €20m, according to Christian Falk of Bild.
The Bundesliga champions then have the option to purchase the 27-year-old for €120m should they wish to do so.
Coutinho has already undergone his medical and is expected to be announced as a Bayern Munich player imminently.
