Sonny Kittel will undergo a medical with Hamburg on Monday, according to Kicker.
The 26-year-old midfielder is available on a free transfer following Ingolstadt’s relegation to the 3. Liga, which has attracted interest from a number of German clubs.
Kittel scored 10 and assisted six in Ingolstadt’s 2. Bundesliga campaign while he’s set to sign a four-year contract, becoming HSV’s sixth signing of the summer.
