Schalke are interested in a loan deal for Napoli’s Marko Rog, according to Kicker.
The German outlet states that Schalke will have an option to make the deal permanent once the loan is over, while Napoli will have a buy-back option.
Schalke have looked to strengthen their midfield this season with Sebastian Rudy, Suat Serdar and Omar Mascarell all arriving as midfield reinforcements in the summer.
Should Rog sign for the Royal Blues, it could signal trouble for some of Schalke’s more fringe players – who may be shown the door this winter.
