Dodi Lukebakio, who enjoyed a successful spell on loan at Fortuna Düsseldorf last season, is drawing the interest of Schalke 04, according to Sport Bild.
The report also claims that the Bundesliga club have held talks with the player, but that a deal could be scuppered by parent club Watford’s €20 million price tag.
Lukebakio would be set for a major pay rise, with reports claiming Schalke have offered the Belgian a deal worth €5m per year – a significant increase on his current deal.
The 21-year-old is also attracting interest from all over Europe after scoring 14 goals in all competitions, including a hat-trick against Bayern Munich.
