Current RB Leipzig head coach Ralf Rangnick has emerged as a surprise candidate to replace Maurizio Sarri at Chelsea, according to Bild.
The 60-year-old will leave his role at the end of the season when Hoffenheim’s Julian Nagelsmann arrives, with Rangnick expected to take up a role within Red Bull as head of sport and soccer development.
Rangnick could however return to a coaching role should the offer be right.
