Hertha BSC head coach Pál Dárdai will leave his role at the end of the season.
“Pál Dárdai has been a great servant to Hertha BSC over the past years, not only as our record appearance holder, but also as head coach. Four-and-a-half years of positive and constructive work together is a long time in professional football. We have, however, come to the decision together that a fresh impetus this summer is the right move for Hertha BSC. Pál is an important part of the positive development of the club and will continue to be a key member of the Hertha family beyond his spell as head coach,” said sporting director Michael Preetz.
The Bundesliga club also confirmed that Dárdai will return to the club in summer 2020 as a youth team coach.
