No contact between Bayern Munich and Mauricio Pochettino

Former Tottenham Hotspur manager Mauricio Pochettino is high amongst Bayern Munich’s shortlist of candidates for the vacant managerial role, according to Sky Germany.

The Argentine was dismissed as Spurs manager on November 19 and will receive £12.5 million due to his severance agreement which is set to be paid to him in instalments.

Whilst no contact has yet been made, if Pochettino is re-employed during the three to six month period of notice, those payments would immediately cease.

Bayern Munich CEO Karl-Heinz Rummenigge and sporting director Hasan Salihamidžić held a secret meeting on Wednesday with super agent, Giovanni Branchini, who was responsible for bringing both Pep Guardiola and Carlo Ancelotti to Bayern.
