Bayern Munich sporting director Hasan Salihamidžić has met Mauricio Pochettino in the past and could become their next head coach, according to Bild.
Former Bayern president Uli Hoeneß was a big advocate of a German speaking coach but the Bundesliga club could be willing to drop that rule.
Karl-Heinz Rummenigge, Bayern CEO, had stated that Hansi Flick will remain in charge until at least Christmas but the thought is now that he will coach the Bavarian’s for the remainder of the season before Pochettino takes over.
An agreement could be reached for the Argentine tactician to take charge in the summer, which will allow him some time off and that will also give Pochettino time to learn basic German.
