Kicker are today reporting that talks between Hertha BSC and Liverpool will intensify next week as they look to reach an agreement for another loan deal for Marko Grujić.
The Serbia international has spent the last year on loan at the Bundesliga, Liverpool would like to loan the 23-year-old out for another season and Hertha BSC are interested in re-signing the midfielder on loan.
“He’d love to stay and Liverpool can see the borrowing has worked. It makes sense to allow the player a second year in a location he knows and where he feels comfortable,” said Hertha sporting director Michael Preetz.
Werder Bremen have also shown an interest.
