Borussia Dortmund bosses hold crisis meeting to discuss Lucien Favre’s future

Lucien Favre’s Borussia Dortmund future is in doubt after club bosses held a two hour crisis meeting following their 3-3 draw with Paderborn on Friday night.

Bild report CEO Hans-Joachim Watzke and sporting director Michael Zorc held a meeting following the game in which they decided Favre would need a result against Barcelona on Wednesday.

Failure to do so may result in the Swiss tactician facing the axe after his Borussia Dortmund side were on the end of deafening whistling and booing during their draw against Paderborn.

Club captain Marco Reus apologised to fans following the draw, telling DAZN: “We need to apologise to everyone in the stadium for the performance. I have no explanation for the first half.”
