Bayern Munich’s transfer of Kai Havertz now more complicated than ever

A deal for Bayern Munich to sign Kai Havertz is more complicated than it would first seem, according to Sport Bild journalist Christian Falk.

The Bundesliga club were ready to offer Bayer Leverkusen €90 million for Havertz but the probability of Bayern signing the Germany international now depends on reported interest from Liverpool, Manchester United, Manchester City, Barcelona and Real Madrid.

Speaking at a pre-match press conference, Havertz commented on his future: “I have zero interest in that at the moment because there are simply too many important matches to play. Like I’ve often said, I’ll take care of it if the opportunity arises.”
