Schalke sporting director Jochen Schneider has ruled out the sale of goalkeeper Alexander Nübel this summer despite interest from Bayern Munich.
“I can rule that out because we have goals for next season,” said Schneider.
Despite a report from Sport1 suggesting that Borussia Dortmund are interested in signing the 21-year-old, Sky Germany’s Dirk Schlarmann has stated that there has been no contact between BVB & Nübel.
Nübel’s agent, via Sport1: “Regarding Alexander Nübel, there has been no contact with Borussia Dortmund.”
