VfL Wolfsburg are in talks with FC Basel over a potential move for Renato Steffen, according to Kicker.
The Bundesliga club were interested in the Switzerland international throughout the summer, but a failed approach has resulted in Olaf Rebbe making a move for Steffen once again.
According to the report, Basel are willing to listen to offers for the 26-year-old.
