Werder Bremen have completed the signing of Bayern Munich defender Marco Freidl on an 18-month loan deal.
The 19-year-old completed his medical with the club on Thursday morning before signing a contract that will keep him at the club until June 2019.
Friedl told the club’s website: “I’m extremely excited and relieved. The people that I’ve got to know over my short time of being here have all been really nice. The last few days have been stressful, so I’m happy to be here now.”
