Fortuna Düsseldorf have announced the signing of Matthias Zimmermann from Stuttgart on a two-year contract.
The 26-year-old, who can operate in defence or midfield, made a total of 35 appearances for die Roten, scoring once.
Zimmermann is Düsseldorf’s tenth signing of the summer.
