Timo Werner has confirmed the reason he was substituted in RB Leipzig’s Champions League clash against Besiktas after just 32 minutes due to crowd noise.
A deafening atmosphere inside the Vodafone Arena, Besiktas fans are notorious for their deafening atmosphere.
Speaking to CapaMag (via OneFootball) Werner said: “I have never seen such an atmosphere in my life. I could not focus on the match. I asked for some ear plugs and it did not help either. I still do not feel well.”
