Christoph Freund confirms Thomas Tuchel will remain as Bayern Munich coach for Arsenal game

Speaking to Sky Germany, Christoph Freund confirms that Thomas Tuchel will stay on for Bayern Munich’s game against Arsenal in the Champions League.

This comes after Bayern’s embarassing 3-2 loss to Heidenheim on Saturday where they threw away a 2 goal lead and all but confirmed Bayer Leverkusen as champions as well ending Bayern’s 11 year stranglehold on the Meisterschale.

It was announced that Tuchel would leave Bayern at the end of the season but ever since the performances of the club have failed to improve and they have drifted further and further away from Leverkusen.

The game against Arsenal on Tuesday is make or break for the remainder of Bayern’s season. If the Bavarians lose in an embrassing manner then there will be little chance that they can turn the tie around and their season will be completely over but if they can avoid a loss at the Emirates the chance of winning the tie in Germany will be greatly improved.
