A report by Sportbild ran this morning suggesting that Borussia Dortmund head coach Thomas Tuchel knew nothing about Aleksander Isak’s transfer to the club, or until late.
Tuchel was asked about the rumours of Isak to Dortmund prior to their 2-1 win at Werder Bremen on Saturday, of which he walked away. It wasn’t until Isak met with Michael Zorc that Tuchel knew of the transfer.
The publication continues suggesting the relationship between Tuchel and sporting director Michael Zorc & CEO Hans-Joachim Watzke is breaking down.
Tuchel also stated earlier in the week that he wouldn’t comment on his contract situation until the end of the season.
