Moving swiftly in the transfer market, Hamburger SV have completed the signing of Walace from Brazilian club Gremio, Bild confirmed.
The 22-year-old, who was chased by Leicester City and Chelsea last season, has signed a contract until 2021, and will arrive for a €9.2 million fee, which will also include future incentives.
Walace will add international experience to a weak Hamburg midfielder, after featuring for the Brazil national team. The box-to-box midfielder played over 100 games for Gremio.
