Augsburg have completed of Sergio Córdova from Caracas FC. The 19-year-old Venezuelan has signed a contract until 2022.
Córdova played a key role in helping Venezuela U20s reach the World Cup final, where they lost to England in South Korea.
“The Bundesliga is a huge challenge for me and I’m very thankful to the club for the trust they’ve shown in me, and that they’ve given me the chance to make this step. I want to adapt quickly and keep developing to help the team achieve their goals,” Córdova told the club’s website.
