With Liverpool and Chelsea interested in Werder Bremen’s Max Kruse, sporting director Frank Baumann told Bild they “will not stand in the striker’s way should he want to leave.”
When asked whether Kruse will be playing for the club next season, Baumann said: “There’s no guarantee – you only get a guarantee with Tupperware.”
According to Bild, Kruse will be able to switch teams should a potential suitor pay €15m. The clause in his contract runs until July 31.
