TSG 1899 Hoffenheim have confirmed that Fabian Schär will join La Liga side Deportivo, subject to medical.
The Bundesliga club tweeted on Friday afternoon: “Fabian Schär will leave TSG for Deportivo. He will have to pass the medical with the spanish club. Good luck in Spain, Fabi!”
In two season’s at Hoffenheim, the Switzerland international has played just 32 games in all competitions, making just six Bundesliga appearances last campaign as the Sinsheim club qualified for the Champions League.
