Nicolai Müller transfer talks stall

Hamburger SV sporting director Jens Todt has confirmed that contract talks with Nicolai Müller have stalled, after the two parties were able to agree on an extension.

Müller’s agent, Björn Bezemer flew to HSV’s training camp on Thursday to head the talks, of stalled due to salary.

Kicker report that the 29-year-old has received an offer from VfL Wolfsburg, where he’s expected to earn €4 million per year, where Müller would sign a four-year deal.

The German is currently in his final year of his HSV contract, whilst Todt has confirmed he won’t be leaving this summer, and instead Müller would depart on a free transfer in 2018.
