Werder Bremen have both Thomas Tuchel and Lucien Favre on their shortlist after Alexander Nouri was dismissed on Sunday, according to Deichstube.de.
The Bundesliga club currently sit in 17th place, three points above 1. FC Köln but without a win this season, sporting director Frank Baumann had to act.
Favre, head coach at OGC Nice, was linked with the Borussia Dortmund job throughout the summer, but opted to remain in France while Tuchel is still without a contract.
“We will talk to managers who have jobs, not just those out of work,” said Baumann, via Bild.
