Franck Ribery: “If possible I want to end my career at Bayern.”

Bayern Munich’s Franck Ribery has confirmed that he could well end his playing career in Bavaria after reuniting Jupp Heynckes.

The duo have a ‘special relationship’ while the Frenchman states that everyone at Bayern Munich is happy with the return of Heynckes, who won the treble in his final year in 2013.

“Ours is a special relationship, a trusting one not it’s sincere. He was the reason why I was so good in 2013. When we met again for the first time at Sabener St [Bayern HQ] we fell into each other’s arms,” Ribery told Kicker.

“I’m very happy that he is back. He knows what I can do. He gives the players self-confidence and talks up our strengths. If possible I want to end my career at Bayern.”
