Liverpool, Swansea City and AS Monaco are all interested in signing Bayern Munich’s Renato Sanches on loan, according to various sources.
Bild suggest that Liverpool are favourites to sign the 20-year-old, who is after more game time following a call-up to Portugal U21s as opposed to the full squad. The German outlet also report that no Italian clubs are now interested in signing the midfielder.
This would be a move that makes sense given that Liverpool have today agreed a deal to sign Naby Keita from RB Leipzig in a club-record deal, while Sanches would arrive as cover for the year, until the Guinea international arrives at Anfield.
Wales Online suggest that Swansea City are wanting to sign Sanches on loan. Another move that could potentially happen, Paul Clement had a good relationship with Carlo Ancelotti after being his understudy at various clubs.
The only reason we can see why Sanches is being linked with Monaco is his relationship with agent Jorge Mendes while the potential departure of Fabinho could play a role as to whether Sanches joins the French champions.
