After a move to Inter Milan broke down, Celta Vigo now look favourites to sign Emre Mor, according to regional reports in Spain. Although we can’t verify the reliability of these both Kicker and Der Westen are running the story, who have some creditability about them.
With the recent departure of Ousmane Dembélé to Barcelona for a club-record €105m & future incentives and with the arrival of €25m Andriy Yarmolenko, Mor may find playing time in this Borussia Dortmund side limited, given that the Ukrainian has also taken Mor’s No. 9 shirt.
The 20-year-old was today close to signing for Torino.
Fiorentina have also shown interest in Mor but with nothing materialising, the Turkey international could well join Celta Vigo for the rumoured €13m.
Mor is in Vigo on Monday night ahead of his medical, while the deal will only go through due to the funds received from Lyon for Pape Cheikh Diop, per Colin Millar.
