Leon Bailey to undergo Bayer Leverkusen medical

After confirmed reports that KRC Genk forward Leon Bailey accepted personal terms with Bayer Leverkusen, the Jamaican international will now undergo a medical at the club on Friday, according to DH.be.

With the fee still to be agreed, it’s now thought this will be an initial €12 million, according to the Belgian outlet, whilst there will be added performance related incentives.

We also know that Premier League club Hull City are after Bailey, but after having an initial bid rejected, it’s likely that the player will move to Leverkusen.

Bailey has a contract with Genk until 2020, but the player missed out their league game against Kortrijk on Tuesday in a bid to make a move to Leverkusen.

The 19-year-old has played 77 games for the Belgian club, scoring 15 goals and assisting 21. Manchester United were close to signing Bailey during the summer.
