Kevin Großkreutz is set to train with Borussia Dortmund, per Sport1, after his contract at VfB Stuttgart came to an end, following a mutual agreement.
Although yet to be official, Borussia Dortmund confirmed that if the World Cup winner does ask to train with his former side, they’ll say ‘yes’.
Press spokesperson Sascha Fligge said: “He has won two championships with us. He made a serious error, which has seen him apologise [for his actions]. Therefore, he is of course welcome.”
An altercation left the 28-year-old in hospital in March.
