Joachim Löw names Germany squad for England and Azerbaijan games

Joachim Löw announced his Germany squad for their friendly against England, whilst they face Azerbaijan four days later in their World Cup Qualifying campaign.

Former Arsenal forward Lukas Podolski will mark his final game for die Nationalmannschaft following a 13 year spell in the Germany NT.

Timo Werner also earns his first call-up after scoring 14 Bundesliga goals for RB Leipzig this season – making him the highest scoring German.
